So, after reading how everyone else does it, I installed the ecard toolbar last night. Then I dropped. I did it 45 minutes faster than I ever have before, which was awesome. I am still trying to "favorite" all of my, well, favorites, so that I will have my own drop list.
If you want to be on my list, and you don't have one of those crappy blogs we were all talking about, leave me a comment and I'll try and find you, and add you to my list.
Also, I wanted to ask a little bit more about this greasemonkey. Some of you love it, some of you says it caused computer (malware) issues. I was wondering exactly what it does before I make up my mind. I know Stacey said it moves the ecard widget up top, but is that it? If you use it, let me know how it works for you. 'Kay?
Do you use Firefox? If so, where is the link for the toolbar? Your help is appreciated.
ReplyDeleteGreasemonkey works great for me it cuts out scrolling for the EC widget, it makes dropping extremely quick.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any problems with malware with it, the only downside at times is if a site is slow to load the EC widget won't move to the top right till the site fully loads, but you can still drop before it moves.

Hey Karen ~ yes, I use firefox, and I found the link under the help section on the ecard...there are three sections, and the toolbar download is in the middle section, I think it was the third one down. It was super simple to do, and works great.

ReplyDeleteI haven't found any extra threat of Malware or anything like that since using it. There are a couple of sites that the widget just won't move so I still have to scan but when I am in the zone and dropping quickly? I just skip those sites that the widget won't move. I get all 300 drops done in an hour on a good day.

Glad the toolbar worked out for you. I have to figure out this Greasemonkey thing now. Sound like it will make dropping faster. That is a very good thing.

ReplyDeleteI also agree with Stacey on just a few sites the widget either won't move or it disappears, just disble Greasemonkey when u open them ones.
