Roundabouts are little paper sleeves that you wrap around an ordinary cupcake to make it more fun. I was sent the burger sleeves to try out. This is what my cupcakes should look like:
This is what my cupcakes actually look like:
The color in the picture is a little off, because in real life, they are the same color as the bottom bun color. And they are seriously adorable! I used a peanut butter frosting that I made from scratch (yes, scratch! I am going to post the recipe on my food blog) on top of devil's food cupcakes, so they taste as good as they look. The only issue I had with the sleeve is that because I overfilled the cupcakes, they didn't wrap around entirely. But, I think if I were to use the right amount of batter, they would have fit perfectly.
You can check out all the different designs on the Roundabout website. I found sushi ones and fire engine ones that are pretty cute, and at $8.99 a dozen, they are affordable too. They also have a skull one that will be perfect for Ryan's Halloween birthday party in November. I always have my eyes peeled for supplies for that. If you like what you see, you can like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
I am also going to be giving one lucky reader the chance to win a pack of Roundabouts of their choice. All you have to do to enter is visit their website, and tell me which sleeve you would like to win, and why. After this mandatory step, you can gain extra entries by doing any or all of the following (1 entry each):

- follow me on Twitter
- follow me publicly on GFC
