Brandi Rose

I had Brandi at the doctor this morning. It seems she has another UTI. The nurse (we saw the Nurse Practitioner instead of the doctor) called it a "whopper" of an infection. She had so much blood and white cells in her urine that they want to see her in 7 days to make sure the medicine is working. She also said it could have been triggered by swimming in the lake. I asked why Brandi gats these infections, and she couldn't give me an answer. She said that a child that young shouldn't have any, and if Brandi has one more this year, they will refer her to an urologist. The nurse said the most common cause is a "narrow pee shoot", and that prevents girls from emptying their bladders completely. That's not necessarily what is wrong with Boo, but is the moat common reason. Anyway, she is on another antibiotic, and we will all pray that she doesn't get any more infections once this one clears up.
