 Tammy from Crazy Mom With Four Boys tagged me to answer these four questions.  After I do, I have to tag four people to answer four questions I come up with.  Sounds like fun, right?

1. What is you favorite TV show?
This is a tough one for me, because I love television.  On Sundays, I watch Dexter and The Next Iron Chef, and they are both awesome shows.  On Mondays, I watch Mike & Molly, Hoarders, Weeds, and The Big C.  Tuesdays, it's Biggest Loser and Chopped.  Oh, and 16 & Pregnant. (don't judge me! lol)  Wednesday is Survivor, Criminal Minds and Top Chef.  Thursdays is The Big Bang Theory, and Friday and Saturday nights I don't usually watch anything because the kids are home.  So, the question was what my favorite TV is?  Pick any of the above! lol!

2. If you could have anything in the world for dinner what would it be?
This is easy...Chinese food!  Sesame chicken, chicken & broccoli, lo mien (not sure if that's spelled right), cheese wontons, egg rolls, spring rolls...oh, it's all soooo good!

3. If you could change something about yourself what would it be?
Another easy one...my weight.  I would love it if I could easily lose weight and keep it off.  I have kept off 50 pounds for over a year now...I just need to do that with more.

4. What is your favorite number or color and why is it your favorite?
Seven and Purple, and I have no idea why.

In this picture, Ryan is changing the oil in a car that Junior was working on.  The two men in my life love working on cars together, and I love that they have something in common that allows them to spend time together.

Yes.

It was December 22, 1994. We were set up on a blind date.

He was very sweet.

No, but we're best friends now.

What was the sweetest thing he did for you?
There have been many, but the one thing that sticks out in my mind is when I was pregnant with Ryan, he shaved my legs for me when I got too big to do it myself. In fact, he did that with all the kids.

What are the things about him that you are thankful for?
He works hard to support our little family, and he is a good man. He knows how to laugh, sometimes at himself, so we are a very happy family.

This is the only picture I have of us, and it's from the Halloween party.

There's No Place Like Home

I was tagged by my wonderful friend diana for this, so here goes.

I just moved a few months ago, as you all know, to a town called Spartanburg. I am originally from NY, so I had to dig online for some info about this town I call home.

1. It was the location of a major battle during the American Revolution.

2. The area was originally home to the Catawba and the Cherokee.

3. Spartanburg was founded as a courthouse town in the 1780's.

4. The city took its name from the "Spartan Rifles," a military unit that fought during the American Revolution.

5. In the late 1800's and the beginning of the 20th Century, Spartanburg was known as the "Hub City" as nearly 90 trains either stopped at the station or traveled through the city on a daily basis.

6. The Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium offers well known performers.

7. The city is home to the University of South Carolina Upstate, Converse College, Spartanburg Methodist College, Spartanburg Community College and Wofford College.

8. We have two museums...

• The Spartanburg Museum of Art.
• The Spartanburg Regional Museum of History.

9. During the summer, you can shop at The Hub City Farmers' Market.

Bring Out Your Bears (or other toys) Meme

Tammy tagged me with this nostalgic meme. Basically all you need to do is pick one of your favorite toys as a kid, post a picture of it (Google images is great if you don't have a picture of it), and tell us about it. At the end tag a couple of people for it.

This is judy evey. My parents gave her to me for my 12th birthday in 1984. All I wanted was a cabbage patch kid with dimples and red hair. This was when you could not find these dolls anywhere! My mom just lucked out and was in the store when they got a delivery. I am such a dork because she still sits on my dresser, in her original outfit, minus socks and shoes. (I took this picture 10 minute ago) What makes this worse is that I still have the original birth certificate you mail away for, complete with the envelope it arrived in.

I know. I'm such a freak. (I was gonna say schmuck, but carrie would kill me!) I am a saver. I have a hard time getting rid of things.
