It's Been A While Since I've Been Sick. I Guess I Had It Coming.

I woke up this morning having a hard time breathing.  I haven't felt like this since before I quit smoking.  All I want to do is spend the day in bed, but I'm a mom, so that doesn't happen.  Even though the kids are old enough to be self-sufficient, there are still things only the mom can do.  So, after napping on and off from about noon until three, I am out of bed and trying to get some work done.  It's insane how on the days I feel fine, there are no paid opps to be found.  Today, I am completely overwhelmed, and most of them need to be done before tonight. 

I guess that means I'll get to sleep later...or maybe I'll take one more little nap now...

Still Sick

Ug. I'm still feeling like crap. I can't take a deep breath. If I do, I have a coughing fit that leaves my chest hurting worse and my head spinning. I started some antibiotics, hoping they will help. I really can not afford to go to the doctor, so hopefully these will help.

I just took more nyquil, so I'm heading to bed.

Night.

My Chest Hurts

I have got a nasty cough, and it is making it hard for me to sleep. Every time I lay down, I have a coughing fit.

So, I had Junior take me to walmart so I could get some medicine, and I expect to spend the next 24 hours sleeping.

I'm not kidding...I do not do well with medicine. Even the day time formulas make me sleepy. I will have to drag my butt out of bed tomorrow, because Brandi's best friend from her old school is having a birthday party tomorrow, and Brandi is so excited to go. Then Sunday we are going to my mom's to celebrate the March birthdays. So, that means I need to get my rest tonight.

I'm off to pop some pills....

Snail

How cool is this! I have never seen a snail "out in the wild", aka my front porch. I was so excited to find this guy crawling around last night, and of course I took a picture to share it with you. I usually have slugs all over the side of the house, and last night this guy joined in the fun. The kids weren't as impressed as I was, but I didn't care. I thought it was pretty cool!
