Wasting Time

Here I sit, killing time between Survivor and ER. My kitchen is clean, all the laundry is done, but I still have tons to do before Sunday. I decided to serve hot dogs. Kids love them and they're easy. My mom is making pasta salad and the cake, so that's two things I don't have to worry about. Boo put in an order for a SpongeBob cake, so we'll have to wait and see how good mom does with that. Boo also wants it to be pink inside, aka strawberry, so I'm making brownies, cause I gotta have chocolate. I'm also making deviled eggs & chili, my sis~in~law is bringing chips and dip. I can't decide between punch or soda. What do you prefer at parties? Punch is cheaper, but I don't drink it. I have to have my diet sprite.The kids brought home progress reports today. They are both still doing really well. All A's and B's, except for one C that ryan has in reading. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this, but the 5th and 6th graders are taking a field trip to the movies in a few weeks. They are going to see The Bee Movie. Now, I am all for educational trips, but to the movies? It costs $15 a kid that I don't have right now. Ryan doesn't want to go because of his Science teacher, but that's a whole other story. Kasi is excited to go. I don't see how the school board approved such a trip.My godson's birthday is Tuesday too. He is exactly one year and 9 minutes younger than boo. My sis had a section like I did, and thought it would be cute to have them share a birthday. That same year, my dad's wife's daughter had a baby on ryan's birthday. She had a section too. So two out of three of my kids share a birthday with someone. Weird, huh?I guess I'm done rambling on. I am reading an okay book, and might go read for the next 30 minutes. Have a good night.
