Brandi's Picnic

Brandi had a poetry reading/picnic at her school today. Luckily hubby went in later and we were able to go. Each kid stood in front of the class and read a poem they wrote. She was so excited because they got to use a microphone. Then we went outside for a picnic in the grass. Boo had a hotdog, and hubby ate a hamburger. They sat side by side on her towel, and enjoyed the sunshine. I was there, taking pictures, of course. It was such a wonderful day!

What a cute family...
Good thing she isn't a shy kid. When we had a poetry reading before, I was so shy. :)

What fun. My son's class is doing the poem thing too. They are reading them Nov. 7th. He has been working hard on his poem. We don't have a fun picnic after.
