Tammy's Blog Rocks

If you have been blogging for any length of time, I am sure you have heard of tammy, from mom knows everything. I have had the pleasure of calling her my friend for, well, about a year now. She gave me my very first blog award! I hope you enjoy getting to know her a little bit better.

me :
When did you start blogging?

tammy : May 4, 2007

me : What was your very first post about?

tammy : My first post was pathetic. I had no idea how to blog so I just rambled on. LOL I would give you the link, but it really sucked.

me : Being a WAHM, how do you find time to blog everyday?

tammy : I don't sleep....okay maybe I do a little, but it never seems like it. It gets really hard to blog with a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 1/2 year old at home all day. I have my sisters kids nights and on weekends....so sometimes I have 5 kids here. I'm always sitting down at the computer for a minute then I get up to do something....up and down and up and down...I get a lot of exercise that way.

me : What made you decide to start A Little Girl Talk?

tammy : There is some things that I just don't feel appropriate talking about on Mom Knows Everything. A Little Girl Talk is more about women and all the things that that entails, including relationship and what all women like to do...gossip, where Mom Knows Everything is basically just about my life being a mom.

me : What weekly meme's do you participate in?

tammy : Camera Critters of course which is hosted by my BBFF Misty, Heads or Tails, which is the first meme I started doing, and recently I started doing Wordless Wednesday and Skywatch Friday.

me : How did you meet misty, your BBFF?

tammy : It all started with an email. Misty stopped by my blog and noticed I did some paid blogging and asked me about it. Geez that was over a year ago and our friendship has grown so much that I consider her like a sister, except less annoying then a sister. LOL Me and Misty talk on instant messaging everyday. She's been there for me in so many ways that I couldn't even tell you. She is not only my BBFF (Best Blogging Friend Forever) she's my best friend. I don't know what I would do without her and I'm thankful that she came into my life.

me : Describe yourself in 2 words.

tammy : Mom and friend.

me : If you could have one wish granted to you, what would it be, and why?

tammy : Can I wish for more wishes? No??? Okay I wish that all my friends and family would be healthy and happy. My friends and family mean the world to me and as long as they are happy that is all that matters to me.

me : Who are some of your favorite blogs?

tammy : Geez there are so many of them that it's going to be a LONG list. Here are a five of them in no particular order.... My Dogs Keep Me Sane Mummy Diaries Life In The Lapadula House Super Mae My Kids Are My World <---hey, that's me! :) me : What do you think is the most rewarding thing about blogging?

tammy : Definitely the friends I've made. It's amazing that a person can become so connected to someone they have never met and care so much about them.

me : How did you convince your hubby to allow you to have a purple living room?
***that was you with her christmas tree in a purple room last year, right? If not, I feel like a schmuck! :)

tammy : That was my living room! I had to giggle at this question because I've never thought about it that way. When it comes to decorating the house John doesn't really care about what I do. I just went out and bought the wallpaper I liked and did it. He's never said anything about not liking it so he must be okay with it. I'll have to ask him what he thought about it when I did it.

me : You are always so generous with your time and blogging expertise, going out of your way to help others, like me, understand all the workings of the blogosphere. Is there a blogger out there who mentored you when you started out?

tammy : My friend Kim from Lifes Like That got me into blogging and helped me in so many ways. I've known Kim for a long time and she's one of my sisters best friends. Kim is an amazing person who not only helped me get set up in blogging, but has also helped me get set up in paid blogging too.

me : Have you had the opportunity to meet anyone in person that you met through blogging? If not, who would you love to have a cup of coffee (or alcoholic beverage) with?

tammy : Misty and Tina. They are both my best friends and I would love to be able to hang out with them someday....and it would probably be beer we'ld be drinking. LOL

bullet questions: which do you prefer: mcdonalds or burger king? (do you have BK in canada?) Can I pick Deluxe instead? We have both McDonald's and Burger King, but I prefer Deluxe's....they have the best fish and chips ever!
thanksgiving or christmas? Christmas of course!
cat or dog? or should I say kitten or puppy? Here at my house it's both, but I prefer kittens because less of a mess to clean up after. LOL
reading or watching tv? reading...I love a good historical romance book, unless HOUSE is on. LOL
money or happiness? Happiness

Thanks again tammy! You're the best.

What a great way to further get to know someone. When you talk about youself it's hard to think about you, but when someone is asking a pointed question it just seems easier. Of course, I wasn't having to come up with the answers lol. Hi Tammy! Nice to meet you.

Isn't she the greatest person you ever met?!?! OK, so maybe I AM prejudice, but even if I am - she's still the absolute greatest! Tammy means the absolute world to me, and in such a short amount of time has become one of the closest friends I've ever had. I don't think there's anything she doens't know about me. Except for anything 'icky' to do with cows - cuz she "don't wanna hear nuthin about cow's 'parts'" bwaaaaaaaahahahahaha I love her SO much - you couldn't have picked a better person to interview!
