Going To Branson

In the thirteen years I have been married, we have only gone on vacation a couple of times as a family. Once was to my brother's wedding in Ohio, and one time we went camping for a few days. We would love to go stay at a nice hotel for a few days, but only if we could get a good deal. A friend of mine was telling me about the time her family stayed in Branson, Missouri. They stayed at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing, which is across the street from the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. She went on and on about all that there is to do there, like shopping and golfing. Her husband was happy about the golfing, and she was so excited to find all the outlet stores. She is like most women and loves getting great deals while shopping. The hotel is on Lake Taneycomo, right in the heart of Historic Downtown Branson, so the rooms have breathtaking views. Her kids loved the amusement park, Silver Dollar City, and they all loved the theaters and restaurants.

I would love to take advantage of their New Year's Eve package. Spa treatments and family style dinners sound wonderful. Who doesn't love to be pampered? I wish we could go as a family this year, but we might just have to wait. Or maybe I'll just go get pampered all by myself. Hilton is the first name in hospitality, and the spa is calling my name.

I've got a GREAT place for you to go on vacation!!... are you ready???

drum roll please...

NEW YORK!! right here. you can stay for free!! well you'd have to pay the price of having to listen to my three kids all day and me and of course Bryan, but he is quiet... me, i never stop talking... and the kids are loud and crazy... but i'm sure you could handle it. lol

i would LOVE for you to visit us!! WE have a camper... maybe you and your family could stay in that... so you would have some privacy! :) not that we don't want you to stay in the house... only we have no extra rooms, but the camper sleeps 7!! has a bathroom, kitchen and stuff... that would be so awesome!! :)

well anyway... Branson sounds like a nice time too... and we don't have breathtaking views or an amusement park or things like that... darnit... but we have um... well not much. lol

hope you get to go on vacation soon. :) we are thinking FL in March... driving... I will have to stop and see you on my way... we would stop in Myrtle Beach... maybe you could meet us there... how freakin' cool would that be??

well anyway... this comment is long enough.
