I Bought Something On eBay
I have never done this before, but a couple of weeks ago, I bought a book on eBay. I still haven't gotten it yet. I was wondering if anyone knew how long it typically takes to get something once you've bought it. I sent the woman I bought it from a message before, asking when she shipped it, just in case it got lost in the mail. You all know the issues I have with receiving packages...lol!

There's really nothing typical about receiving purchased items on ebay. I've known people who never receive their items and then go through a battle getting their money back. I've done lots of selling on ebay, but I've only bought once. My buying experience was great, my selling experience was okay.
Some sellers put in their listing how long it will be before they ship the item. You might want to double check that.
I usually buy CDs from Ebay and get them in time. It's best to buy stuff from a person who is reliable. I'm sure you must have gone through the comments left for that person (from other buyers).
They usually specify how long it will take to get the stuff.
The cheapest way to send books is by media mail which can take 5-10 days but over the holidays, one I sent took over a month!

I haven't bought anything on there for awhile, but I was buying some kids clothes on there before. And I always received everything fairly quickly. 10 days tops!
I have only sold items on ebay. I would have the item already boxed up and ready to go. Once I had the funds it was in the mail asap. I do know someone who over Christmas had problems and has not received the item yet. She might just be out her $80.00. Good Luck!
As a previous poster has already stated if you purchased your book with Media Mail shipping it can take 5-10 days to arrive. I use Media Mail when selling books because the shipping is cheaper. Good luck.
