My poor baby girl just can not get better. Yesterday, she came into the living room, and said that she was coughing up boogers. I asked what she meant, and she said she was coughing up green stuff. So...we went and filled the antibiotic prescription the doctor gave us the other day, and started her on that.
Last night, I stayed up to drop ecards, and went in to bed around 1:30. I found Brandi wide awake, watching TV. I asked what was wrong, and she said her tummy hurt. I asked if it was puke hurt or poop hurt...she has constipation problems sometimes...and she said not puking. I got in bed to rub her tummy, and she was on fire! I checked her temp, and sure enough, almost 102. I got her some motrin, and made her sit on the potty for a while. She passed a lot of gas and felt a little better. We watched Iron Chef America, and her temp came down a little, around 101. She was complaining about being sweaty, so I put her in a cool shower, dried her hair, and I think we finally laid back down around 4am.
My mom called around 9 to check on us...she saw my facebook status from like 3am...and woke me. I checked Boo again, and she was back up to over 101. I gave her more motrin, and she has been normal since. She is playing with Kasi, acting fine, but I still worry about her. Hopefully she can stay normal for the day, but I am not sending her to school tomorrow. I like for them to be fever free for 24 hours first. Besides, we're supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow, so who knows if the schools will even be open tomorrow.
