Are You A Coupon Lady?

I have become a little obsessed with finding great deals. It has gotten so bad that I won't buy something unless it's on sale, or I can get a really good deal on it. I have found some really great buys using coupons, too. Some people think they are a waste of time, but not me. I scour the internet every week, and love finding coupons for the things I normally buy, because they save you the most money.

I have two main stores that I grocery shop at, Walmart being one of them. I know the prices of the things I buy every month, and by looking at sale papers I can decide where I will get the best deal. Walmart is usually the cheapest, and adding Walmart coupons saves me even more money. I found a really good coupon a few weeks ago for those new Kraft macaroni and cheese crackers. I had four coupons for $.55 off one box, and found the boxes for $1 at Walmart. That's right, I only paid $.45 for each box. Not bad, right?

Using coupons wisely is how you save the most money. It takes some practice, but eventually it will become second nature. At least it did for me.

UGH!! i typed a huge comment here... and the computer ate it!!! :P

anyway... i saved $7 last time we shoppped using coupons... it was great... and that was with not being too organized and also sorting stuff out on the way to the store in the truck... i want to really get back to making a meal plan for the month, making a list for the store collecting coupons and then only shopping for what is on my list and maybe if i see a really awesome sale... then buying it... but that is it.

i know there has to be a better way to shop... we spend soooo much money on groceries... it is unreal... of course there are other items that we buy bc we mostly shop at Wal-Mart too... so there are the socks for the kids and a candle here and there, or a toy once in a while... a movie on occassion and stuff like that... it's nice that you can get everything you need in ONE store, but it often makes you spend more money than needed or that you wanted to.

at least that is how it is for us. lol

I don't think I'm physically capable of buying anything that's not on sale! I love my coupons, too!

I should have bought some of those crackers you mentioned - $1 at Walmart and $2-something at the next store I went to. So I didn't buy any.
