This is usually my favorite time of year, but I am feeling a little stressed this year. I am not sure how we are going to come up with the money to go shopping for the things the kids are asking for. Luckily, they haven't asked for anything big, so a few little presents will have to be enough.
I hate it. They do without so much during the year, and in the past we have always found a way to get them everything they have asked for at Christmas, within reason, of course. I just feel like they are going to be disappointed this year. I know they will be thankful for what they do get, don't get me wrong. They would never, ever complain. Maybe it's just me, as a parent, wanting them to have everything they ask for.
Is that wrong?

I have been looking for cute address labels online, and found this "Merry Christmas" one. I am always drawn to the more cutsie Christmas things than the traditional ones. I prefer bright colors to the muted maroons and forest greens.
To each his, or her, own, I guess.

I am with you. My kids are too young to even know if they got everything they wanted, they don't even know what they want, but I just want to spoil them. I wish so much didn't revolve around money.
I find Xmas is the worst for that. I always limited the gifts to like 10...and in those ten it would mean their yearly xmas socks, was one. Their yearly undies, another. A cd, or a movie or whatever. Keeping a budget helped. Though if it was one huge gift that they wanted, I split up the socks LOL...and they got their big gift, usually at my moms LOL.
