Hickory Farms

Holidays.  In my family, the Holidays mean food.  Lots of food.  Noshies (our name for appetizers), the main meal, and then dessert.  Lots and lots of desserts.  Most of the time, the noshies are better than the actual meal.  Just take a look at this tray of food and tell me what you think:
This is the "Home For The Holidays Gift Box" from Hickory Farms, and we enjoyed it on Thanksgiving .
Included in the box was:

-2 - 10 oz. Our Signature Beef Summer Sausages
-10 oz. Italian Recipe Beef Summer Sausage
- 8 oz. Big Barn Cheddar®
- 7 oz. Cheddar & Havarti Blend
- 4 oz. Three Cheese & Onion Wedge
- 4 oz. Smooth N Sharp Wedge
- 2.25 oz. Sweet Hot Mustards
- 2.5 oz. Honey Pineapple Mustard
- 2 - .5 oz. Cracked Wheat Crackers

Let me tell you...it was all delicious.  I have to admit that I had never tried a summer sausage before.  I could kick myself now that I know what I was missing!  I am also not a fan of onions, but the three cheese and onion wedge was my favorite cheese.  The crackers were a little bite of heaven as well.

The box I received for review is one of the boxes in their "military section" that can be sent to any APO/FPO military address around the world with free shipping.  How cool is that?  I remember how hard it was the first year my brother was in the military, when he couldn't be home with us.  I can only imagine that it was ten times harder on him.  I think he would have appreciated a little something from home, and these Hickory Farms gift boxes are the perfect reminder.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Hickory Farms and received a signature gift box from Hickory Farms to thank me for taking the time to participate.
