If you need to catch up, you can read part one here and part two here.
Okay, the third thing that sucked about being super fat was the clothes I wore. I am all about being honest here, so I'm going to put it all out there.
I used to shop in the men's department at Walmart for all of my clothes.
There, I said it.
Women's clothes just weren't big enough. I liked for my shirts to be long. In fact, I was happiest if they came to my knees.
Attractive? No freaking way.
Comfortable? Um, nothing is comfortable when you are that big.
Necessary? Unfortunately, yes.
Men's tshirts are cut differently than women's. I was buying, and wearing, 5X tshirts. Sad. I know. Mostly it was because of my boobs. And my belly. My belly was huge! Now it's just big. Pretty big. But not huge. Progress people. Progress.
Anyway, I also bought my shorts and sweatpants, because that is all I ever wore, in the men's department too. If you have never been overweight, you don't know they joy that comes with putting on a pair of jeans that zip up, and they fit! The way they should! I hadn't worn jeans that zip in probably 15 years or so. Now, that's all I wear. Well, I still wear shorts, but they zip up too.
I do not miss stretchy waistbands that threaten to snap any second. It's these little things that mean so much!

I completely understand trying to be as comfortable as you can be. I'm glad you don't have to buy your stretchy sweat pants anymore. Keep it up, girl!
