Crazy Fun

I had soooo much fun last night!I think 10 or 11 kids showed up. All boys. All 12 years old!The rain stopped, so we were able to keep them mostly outside. We did the pinata, the scavenger hunt, the guessing the number of candy in the jars, the word scramble, and finally bobbing for apples. The kids also played "walking in the graveyard" for about an hour with a friend of ours. All in all it was a great night. The friend I refered to above is a guy Junior works with, Rodney. They have a son, Brandon, who I've mentioned before. I've met his wife, Dana, a few times in the past, and was very happy that she came last night, and I had the opportunity to get to know her better.I did neglect my family (dad and sister) because it was rough trying to control all those boys. I hope they had a good time.I don't want to post pictures yet, I'm saving them for Tuesdays Heads or Tails, but you have to see Kasi. As great as she looks, she only came in second in the costume contest!
Nicole did her makeup. The picture doesn't really do her justice, but it's the only one I took of her. I didn't take any of Ryan or Brandi in their complete costumes, but got a ton of candid shots.
What was really great? All the kids saying it was the beat party they had ever been to! Yeah Me! What was sad? Some of the kids saying they'd never been to a "home made party". How sad is that? I'm glad I was able to show them that a party can be fun, no matter where it's held!
