My Blog Rocks

A couple of people wanted me to interview myself, but I didn't think that would be much fun. So tammy suggested I have my kids ask some questions. The girls were happy to do it. Ryan just wanted to know who I was voting for, and why. Since I refuse to talk politics on this blog, his questions will not be answered. Sorry. :( Tammy and jenn also asked some questions, so I guess you will now find out why MY blog rocks!

brandi : What do you write about?

me : you and your brother and sister, of course! I also talk about mommy things, and anything else that tickles my fancy!

brandi : what word do you use the most?

me : if you ask carrie, she'd say schmuck, lol! I think it's probably "so". I do kinda say that alot.

brandi : how many pictures do you use?

me : I use a lot, because I love you guys so much, and I want everyone to see how freakin' cute you are!

kasi : what do you like about your blog?

me : I like that I can write anything, and people understand. They may not agree, but the support I find online is amazing. My bestest friends are from all over the world, and I love that!

kasi : how many posts do you do?

me : it depends on the day. Since I started paid posts, I do more, because I like making money :)

kasi : how many blogs do you have?

me : I have three. This one, my craft blog and my journey.

tammy : How do you find time to blog with 3 kids, a house and a husband?

me : I have no problem ignoring all of that and just blogging! Okay, seriously, I do my housework quickly, and spend time online while the kids are in school. I really find it almost therapeutic to sit and post, and read everyone else's blogs.

tammy : Which blogger inspires you?

me : this is a tough one for me. The first people who really reached out to me when I started was christine, and you, tammy. I also met frigga early on, and you guys have stayed with me through all the crap. Then there is carrie, who is like my bestest friend ever, and jenn and crystal, who are like my sisters, and diana who is always so supportive, and missy who I got to meet in real life who I totally adore, and miss donna, who I adopted as my other mother. This list could go on and on. Each of you inspires me, and I'm sure there are more who I can't think of right now.

tammy : What do you love the most about blogging?

me : that I can be myself. My online friends know the real me. In person, I have always been very shy, because I always think people are judging me by the way I look. I have gotten better since I got my new boobs though. I can be honest online, and that's important to me.

tammy : What pisses you off the most about blogging?

me : people who are fake, or those people who no matter what you write about, they have it worse, or are just really negative people. I totally avoid the negativity. I want my blog to be a happy place! :)

tammy : If you could be any animal which on would you be? (I picked this just because I know how much you love elephants)

me : I would probably say a cat. You're surprised, aren't you? I would be a cat so all I had to do all day was sleep, and eat, and there would always be someone around to clean my bathroom (litter box!) for me.

jenn : How did you come up with your children's names?

me : I remember the first time I heard the name ryan, I was probably around 10 or 11. I knew then and there that I would name my first son ryan. His middle name is lyen, after my middle name, lynn. Hubby decided on the spelling, just to be different. I heard the name kasandra on a soap, one life to live, when I was a teenager, and fell in love with it. Her middle name is barbara, after my grandmother who passed away before she was born. Hubby picked brandi's name, but I picked her middle name rose, just because I love that name.

jenn : What made you decided to make your Journey public, although I'm pretty sure you said so you could get more support. :) See I do pay attention.

me : lol! Yeah, more support, and because I am sure that one of the people who I gave access to were not who they claimed to be, and that kind of defeated the purpose of having it private. For the record, I think that was a pretty shitty thing to do, especially since this person asked for access, and I denied her, so she made up this whole identity just to trick me. All I can say to this person is get a life, and leave me alone!

jenn : What makes you most happy in life?

me : wow. Another tough one. There are so many things. My hubby, of course, and my kids. Especially when they are happy and laughing. Then there is my family. I am so lucky to be close to my parents, and my brother and sisters. I don't know what people do who don't have the support of their loved ones. Then there are my friends, who probably know me better than my family. I would say my happiest day would be letting the kids pick what they want to do, and us doing it together as a family.

jenn : Before you had children how many did you think you wanted to have?

me : I wanted 4. If we could afford it, and I wouldn't need another section, I would have another. I love babies, and am now finding out that I love my almost teenagers, too. I love that I can have actual conversations with them. I am now looking forward to grandkids in the future. Many, many years in the future!

jenn : What would you do if you found out you were pregnant now?

me : panic.

jenn : Do you like being a SAHM or do you wish you could work outside the home as well?

me : I am a homebody by nature, so I don't mind being a SAHM, and now that I'm doing the paid posts, I feel like I am contributing financially. Adult conversation would be nice, though.

jenn : Are you still happy that you had your reduction and how has it changed you life?

me : without a doubt, the reduction is the best decision I have made in a long time. I have no regrets. Hubby asked me the other day if I miss the girls, and I said no, without hesitation. I am no longer completely self-conscience when I go out. I desperately need to lose weight, but I am very happy with how I look. I have not had back/shoulder pain in three months, and it has been wonderful! I can't believe I put this off for so long. I would totally recommend it to anyone thinking about it. TMI: I do kinda miss having feeling in my nipples, but that is a small price to pay.

sweet or salty? both. Give me a chocolate covered pretzel and I'm in heaven
hot or cold weather? cold
thriller or comedy? comedy
hugs or kisses? hugs
morning or night person? night
lefty or righty? righty
romantic or just affectionate? a little of both! :)
