I have heard a lot about twitter the past few days. I have no idea what it is. Do you?
Do any of you do it? I have been hearing how it is a great way to promote your blog and gain readership. Is this true?
If you use it, would you recommend it? Is it easy, or a waste of time?
I know, I ask a lot of questions. But if it is time consuming and not really worth the effort, I want to know before I try it out. So tell me what you've heard, or what you think anout it.

I haven't a clue...I guess the only way to find out is to check it out. I've heard good things about it though...Happy day sweetie!hughugs
I just joined after hearing much about the subject. A lot of people post links to their Etsy shop or their blog or their flickr pictures..or any number of things. But you also use it to just say what you are doing..like mini blogging. I totally recommend it. You just start following people and usually they will then become your follower..I posted a link to one of my listings and right away it went from 8 views to about 20..so people are clicking on the links. Try it! and follow me! :)

Think of it as Bloggers Instant Messaging. Sometimes you're posting to thin air, other times you're chatting with your fave bloggers. I love it, a few ladies have been getting me to do it for mONthS. It's fun. Time consuming, a little...a lot
I do have it, and used it quite a bit at first. Now I just don't seem to have time...but I believe in it and it is easy. I just don't have time. If you decide to use it, let me know so I can follow your twits!~
I've never used twitter, but I use plurk which is almost the same thing.
If you have a big following there, you can use it to promote your blog, but mostly it IS another blog, but you juts blog one sentence at at time.
I've seen lots of people talking about Twitter, but no, I don't use it. yet. I haven't even checked it out yet. I can barely keep up with my blogs, groups, facebook, etc.
Love Twitter.. but it can be addicting.. it's basically used for mini thoughts throughout the day or people use it for blog promotion also...
