Ryan and I both wear glasses. I rarely replace mine, unless they break. In fact, a few years ago, I needed new eyeglasses, but was reluctant to spend the money on them. When I finally gave in and went to the eye doctor, the sales lady made fun of my broken glasses, because they went out of style years ago. I couldn't believe how expensive a pair of eyeglasses had become. Ryan is now more concerned with his appearance since starting this school year. I guess at almost 13 his appearance has finally become important to him. This causes a problem for me, because I can not afford for him to have the designer glasses that he wants.Or can I?

Let us know what you think about the glasses when you get them! I am like you and dealing with two pair of glasses both suffering from cracking lenses. I've looked at Zenni and they seem like a really great deal, but I haven't heard if any one has purchased from them or what their experience was like.
