I was going through the pictures on this computer, and found this one of the girls.
I'm pretty sure it was taken in August.
I am so glad that they love each other, and that they are far enough apart in age that they won't be fighting over boys one day.
As much as I love my sister, she is only 14 months older than me, and felt it was her mission in life to steal every guy I ever liked.
It was not a fun way to grow up.
Luckily we are close now, and that is all that matters.

My sister Sharla is 18 months older then me.
I don't have a sister, but I do have 2 daughters, they are 5 years apart and didn't really grow up TOGETHER, but they are still close.
I have 2 daughters, they are 7 years apart. They have not had a relationship until they became adults, but now are close.
I have a sister (The Shark) who's only a year older than me. We even went to the same high school and hung around the same crowd. We've never ever been interested in the same guy.
...well except Doogie Howser, we both wanted to marry him! ;-)

I don't have a sister and always wished I did! I hope they know they have something very special with having a sister. Very nice picture.
that picture is really nice. and it is pretty funny b/c just last night I turned a picture of Lauren and Brooke sleigh riding into a sketched picture... like this one. :)
i'm glad that they are close and enjoy spending time with each other and really love one another.
i think every mother always dreams and wants their kids to like one another and get along. it is so nice to have that closeness with siblings! :)
i hope Brooke & Lauren don't have boy drama, well between them... I know there will probably be boy drama without a doubt... i just hope they never let it come between them. :)
