Pie

Guess what's going on in Branson? The Great American Pie Contest featuring Al Roker from the today show. It's being held at the Branson Convention Center, which is located adjacent to the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel.

Now, I'm sure you are wondering what this pie contest is all about, right? Well, Taste Of Home Magazine and Branson are sponsoring a pie recipe contest, with first prize being $2,500 in cash, plus a trip for two for a 4-day/3-night fun-filled vacation in Branson. It's a National contest, and there will be many other prizes awarded as well. This contest will take place April 24 - 25, and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel has set aside a block of rooms available from April 20 until April 29 so that you don't miss any of the fun. These rooms are available for a special rate, but this price is only good until March 22, or until the block is sold out, whichever comes first. If this contest is something you want to witness, book your rooms now.

This isn't the only thing Branson has to offer in the near future. They always have something going on, like the NAIA college basketball championship and the FLW Bass Tournament. They will also be having their first Branson Air Show. You can stay at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, or right acroos the street from that is the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. You can find live entertainment all around town, as well as great restaurants and shopping. There is even golf for all you men out there. Okay, I know women play golf too, but in my family it's a guy thing. There is always something to do, no matter how old, or young, you are.
