Camera Critters ~ 30

This little bird was determined to get inside our van.

He would land on the mirror, and then fly into the window.

Over and over again.

He's pretty, right?

Just not so smart!
After about 30 minutes, he gave up and flew away.

To participate, go here.

hi, nice blog, would you like to x-link?

Did you keep a female counterpart inside the van? Or probably it could the it's own reflection that it was seeing in the window of the van.

I guess there is something to eat inside the van. Or something that interests the bird to come inside :)

Definitely a very pretty bird. nice timing to capture such a rare moment. You are right Marly must be looking for something to eat.

We do not have bluebirds in Florida and I long for them as they were a prominent part of my youth in WVA Sandy

Do you think it was seeing another bird in its refection?
Wild!
Beautiful bluebird-smart or not:)

When I used to live with my aunt, there was a bird that did the same to the living room window for hours at a time, several days a week. It drove me nuts especially since I am afraid of birds.

Jenn, that bluebird must have thought your car would make a good nesting site, or it was defending his territory from his reflection. :)

Beautiful bluebird. I love them. Great up close pictures! I've seen a mocking bird do that before.

The term 'bird brain' was coined for a reason. Still, I would love to know what is going on in their minds at moments like this.

I've never had a bird come that close, they kind of stare at me and leave

Last year at work I had a bird that loved my car. I couldn't keep my windows down because I was sure the bird would of been inside. It would sit on the mirror like your bird but he would look at himself. I think he was in love with what he saw in the mirror.

I've never seen a bluebird act that way. Did you have a nice juicy worm inside? :)

Do you know what I've been going through to try to get close to Bluebirds to take their photos? And you've got one knocking on your window! Geesh. hehe

I read in another one of your posts that you do e-cards and paid posts... I was curious what you do with e-cards.
