A month or two ago, I got a message at entrecard from someone who wanted me to sponsor a contest she was having. She asked that I donate entrecard credits, and I did. I gave away 500 credits, and was like the 10th place prize in her giveaway. (there were like 30 prizes) I didn't have a problem with that, because I easily accumulate more than that in one day.
Yesterday I got a message from someone else, wanting me to be a sponsor in a giveaway he is doing. The only bad thing is that he wants 3000 credits. In order to participate, I would have to but the credits, and I just don't want to. I have never bought credits before, but I know they are pretty expensive, like $6 for 1000. It would cost me $18 to get enough to give away. My philosophy is, if I am going to give away $18 worth of anything, I will do it on my own blog, not someone else's.

i think i received the same message as you got, i don't mind giving credits, i gave 5k credits before, but i simply don't like the way he asked for it, he sounds hmm...., i don't know, like too cocky to me, i just ignore the message.
I totally agree. I don't see why anyone would expect you to give away quite that many credits.
