Going Dot Com Again

I think it's been about two months or so since I switched this blog to a dot com. I am finally starting to have the same numbers as before, and I'm happy about that. Before the switch, the Alexa ranking on this blog was about 85,000. I just checked this morning, and I am down to 97,795. It also has a PR2, which I never had before. This blog was always n/a.

Now that the PR on my craft blog went down the toilet, I am thinking of going dot com over there, too. The Aleza ranking over there is horrible right now, so this is a good time to make the switch. I just hope i remember everything Anna told me about switching it over.

I recently changed my blog over to a .com and rolled it into my main site. It is frustrating to rebuild what you had on your previous blog, but it does seem to build faster with a .com, plus the visitors that want to find you do find you and the ones that don't were probably bounces anyway. best of luck.

All I lost when I switched was my alexa ranking, but I'm not sure about page rank, because when I was blogspot.com I was unranked. Within a couple of weeks of going dot com, it was a 2. My craft blog was a 3 last week, and now it's unranked, so I think this is the perfect time to switch.

I never lost followers, though, which was good.
