Have you ever wondered how companies test their products? There is a pretty funny video on YouTube where they test out VistaPrint tote bags. Fist one guys fills the bag with weights, and then he bench presses with them. The tote bags hold their own. Then they use the tote bag to pull a car, and it does. At this point I'm thinking these are pretty sturdy bags. The last test is the throw test, where the guy whips the bag around over his head, and then lets go. The bag made it through it all.
This got me thinking about how I would test out the tote bag. What could I do to prove it's durability? Maybe let my youngest child, who is seven, use it to slide down the slip and slide? Maybe let my two year old nephew use it as a sack for a potato sack race? I would, of course, make a video of both of these events and upload them to YouTube. My son loves YouTube, and is on there all the time. I am pretty sure I am going to need his help with my videos. It amazes me the things he knows about computers. I admit that he knows so much more than I do. I'm just grateful that he also likes helping his mom every now and then.
