Keeping My Doors Locked

I mentioned on my craft blog that we have a serial killer on the loose nearby. A few days ago, one man was killed, last night two women were killed, and we are just now learning that another two people have been shot, and one of them is dead. The survivor was shot in the head, but is miraculously holding on. There was also a police chase right after, and there is yet another person dead, and there is a rumor that it is a woman, a victim of a car jacking. They are also saying, although it is not confirmed, that the police have someone is custody. I am hoping it is the psycho who is killing innocent people.

I am not ashamed to say I am pretty scared right now. They are telling everyone to stay inside with their doors locked. This kind of thing isn't supposed to happen in our small town in South Carolina.

Just goes to show you things like this can happen anywhere. It reminds me of The Kanner Lake series I read by Brandelyn Collins: http://zemeks.blogspot.com/2009/04/our-best-reads-for-april.html
