Staying In

In the past, I have written about staying in Branson, Missouri. I have told you about all the things to do while you are there, like golfing, going to a theme park, and exploring all the shops and restaurants. This time I am going to tell you about staying at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. This is a picture of one of their suites, and it looks like a beautiful room. The suite I was looking into has a king size bed, two 32-inch LCD flat panel televisions, and a full kitchen, complete with an oven, stove top, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. They even offer cooking and dining utensils. I know most people like to eat out at restaurants while they are on vacation, but feeding a family of five that includes a teen aged boy can get expensive. I could save money by preparing breakfast and dinner in the suite, and we could just eat out for lunch every day. We do this at home, too, because most restaurants have cheaper prices at lunchtime. The suite also has a jetted tub. Talk about relaxing. If I have a good book with me, I might not leave the room, unless it is to go relax by the pool. The kids love to swim, and so do I. I wish we could pack up and leave in the morning, heading to the Promenade, or the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, which is right across the street. I could use a vacation right about now.

That's a fancy place. Nothing wrong with making your own meals. It gets costly. We used to always stay at the motel 6, lol as long as it had a pool it was all good ;)
