Visiting The Wax Museum

I have finally recovered from our camping vacation. All the laundry is done, and all the tents and coolers are put away for next year. Four days in the sun was more than enough to tire me out. As much as I loved playing in the lake and fishing, I am ready for an "indoor" vacation. I want to go somewhere that I can be pampered a little, and spend some time in a pool instead of swimming with the fishes. I was bite by a fish for the first time last week, and it wasn't an enjoyable feeling.

I am trying to convince Junior that we should go stay at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing in Missouri. I recently that they have a wax museum in Branson, and I have always wanted to visit one. The pictures they showed online were so realistic. I saw one of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones dressed in their suits from Men In Black, and it was amazing how much they looked like the real actors. They also have a Wizard Of Oz display, where you can walk the yellow brick road. I know Brandi would love this, seeing as how for six months last year, that was her favorite movie and we watched it at least three times every day. Visiting the museum would be a wonderful indoor activity we could enjoy while staying cool.

There are so many other things to do while staying at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. I have heard great things about the one of a kind water fountain with a light and fire display choreographed to music in the town square. I am sure Junior and I can find all kinds of things to do with the kids. Heck, maybe we could even find time to enjoy a meal alone, without the kids. Ryan is old enough to babysit, and I am sure Trofi Restaurant, which is in the hotel, has good food. Hopefully next summer I will find out.
