Do you remember a few weeks ago I wrote about the house across the street from us getting robbed in the middle of the day? I think I mentioned how the woman who lived there came home around 5pm to find two men carrying her big screen television out her garage door. For a while after that incident, I kept my front door closed and locked all the time. It is just in the last few days that I have started leaving my door open, with the screen door locked. The weather has been so beautiful, I need to let the sunshine in.
This makes Junior nervous because most of the day I am home alone. He would prefer I keep the door closed and locked, but I can not live like a prisoner in my own home. We compromised, and decided that I will keep the doors locked until he can have a security system installed. Of course he wants the best alarm system he can find, so I believe we are looking into adt home alarms systems. They are America's number one home security provider, and it is very important that we have the best. Home alarms can alert you to break ins or fire, and it's always nice to know someone is looking out for you.
I do everything I can to protect my family, and that includes owning a safe car for them to ride in, teaching them how to act around strangers, and using the best home security system available. I don't want to end up losing everything like my neighbor did.
