Well, the rain didn't hold off, and it was POURING when it was time to leave for the parade. It was an easy decision to skip it, mostly because Brandi and I are both still not feeling the best, and being out in the cold rain wouldn't have helped either one of us. According to the local news, the parade did take place, which is kind of stupid, but whatever. They should have postponed it.
They are now calling for thunderstorms, more so towards the morning, right around the time I will be taking the kids to the bus stop. The last time this happened, we were all scared to death. Standing under trees, holding an umbrella, is not where I want to be when there is lightening, but what choice do I have?
Let's all just pray it's over by then, kay?
