Purchasing Flowers Online

This is a guest post by Brooke Shepherd

Every year for Mothers day I send my mom a dozen white roses. This has been our tradition since I was a little girl. Of course then, I had my fathers help in pulling this off. This year was the first year that I have lived farther than an hour away from my mother. Unfortunately I was unable to make the seven hour trip home so I purchased the flowers online using hughes net broadband internet and had them delivered to her. I wanted to make sure that the flowers were delivered while my mother was volunteering at the local hospital, as I knew she would love the attention in getting this gift. I decided to use 1800flowers.com to send the roses. I logged on using my satellite internet and chose the perfect bouquet of flowers. This website allowed me to pick the vase that I wanted, as well as the card that was sent with the flowers. I specifically liked being able to pick these items to match her taste.

Through this website I was able to pick my desired delivery time and place. I am happy to say that the flowers were delivered right on time, right in the middle of her volunteer shift. They were exactly what she wanted and lived up to our tradition. I had never ordered flowers online using hughesnet internet so I was worried that they would not be as high quality as from my small town florists. My mother was thrilled with her gift and the ordering process was great.
