The Kids choice awards are a great show that I never miss each year. Other than the fact that kids are allowed to vote on who their absolute favorites are, you get to see everything from a kids perspective. The good part is that you don't actually have to be a kid to enjoy the show. I've been watching it for a few years and although I'm not exactly a kid anymore, I still enjoy watching.
This year was an especially good show. I remember watching the show, on the channels that the best cable tv offers, like it was yesterday. Ever since I was a kid there was something about award shows that I loved. I can remember always watching them with my parents. We would always make a bowl of popcorn and sit down for a night that was sure to be fun and exciting. I'm not sure if that's why I never miss an awards show now, but I think that plays a big part in it.
No matter what Awards show is airing, I always make it a point to watch. I've even gotten my husband into watching them with me and I think he enjoys them now as much as I do. We make it a family night and still make the bowl of popcorn each and every time we know one is going to be on TV.
