I saw a teaser on television the other day about a news piece our local station is doing about how businesses keep track of their employees. They were asking questions like, "does your boss have the right to know where you are at all times when in a company vehicle?" and "is your privacy being invaded by your boss?". I completely forgot to watch the piece, but I do have an opinion on the subject. Big surprise, right?
I think that all companies should use vehicle tracking systems in their company vehicles. I also think that if you are on the clock, your boss has every right to know where you are. I mean, if I owned a company, I wouldn't want my employees parking my vehicles in strip club parking lots, or anyplace else like that. I would also want to know if I am paying my employees while they go shopping or visit friends. Company time is company time, and employers have every right to know what their employees are up to when they are being paid to work.
Do you agree?

Yes...yes, I agree completely. People tend to abuse the company vehicle privilege.
I know, right? I don't believe in companies being able to spy on you when you are on your own time, but when you are on the clock, you belong to them! lol!
