The time has come for me to renew my other domain name. I have been neglecting my craft blog, well, actually, I have been neglecting all of my blogs since I started working. I find that after working all day, when I get home the last thing I want to do is get online. Weird, I know, considering I used to spend all day, every day online.
I have to make the decision about whether or not I even want to renew the domain on my craft blog. I renewed this one for two years, and this is the one I write on mostly anyway, so I know I will keep it. My concern is, if I renew the other one, will I even post on it, or would I just be throwing money away? I know it doesn't cost that much, but when every penny counts, even $8 can be too much. That blog isn't making much money these days either.
I have been thinking about maybe trying to find a cheaper place to buy the domain name, but I don't know where to look. I found an ipage review online and the reviews were pretty good, but I am still not sure. They had coupon codes, too, which was nice. There are just so many choices. Anyone have any advice?
I think I have until July to make up my mind.

Why no combine two of the blogs? Since you're on Blogger, you can add individual pages, so you could put all your recipes in their own section and if you cook something specifically FOR your kids or WITH your kids, that would still fit the theme of this blog.
(if you don't know how to add pages, just let me know, I'll show you, it's super simple)
And as far as your craft stuff goes, you could just consider dropping the domain name and letting it be the plain old blogger url and then if you find yourself really getting into it again, go repurchase it at a later date?
I don't know where you buy your domains, I get mine through godaddy. I have heard of cheap domains dot com. I do a search for registering or re-newing cheap domains.
Here is another suggestion, where ever you are registered now, have them re-route your to your blogspot URL for now, so people can find you now. Then you can look at it, it is just $8.00. Take your lunch for a day or two.
Just a few ideas !! :)
Hope all is well !! :)
I just got this godaddy code. gdz532s

You could consider setting up a subdomain for your craft blog. It could get long - beautifulcreations.mykidsaremyworld.com - but it is an option, and you don't have to go back to the blogspot address. Or, take your lunch a couple days as has been suggested and keep the domain. That blog may not make much money, but if it makes enough to pay for the domain, then you're really not out anything.
Wow... so much has happened since I left the blogging world! I'm glad to hear you are doing so well! Can't wait to get caught up:)
Why don't you combine them? All onto blogger, it's free.
Good luck on figuring it all out. I'm sure it will work out.
