The Best Worst Cook Is...

Rachel!

And trust me when I say I was SHOCKED! I was convinced Jenny would win, and I felt so bad for her when she didn't. I believe it was Anne's positive attitude in the kitchen that helped Rachel win. Beau was down Jenny's back the entire time, and I think it showed in her food.

I wonder if this will be a new series, or just a one time show?

Worst Cooks In America

I love Food Network. As much as I enjoy their cooking shows, I absolutely love their reality competitions. Iron Chef, Challenge, Next Food Network Star, Next Iron Chef, and now Worst Cooks In America.
This has been airing on Sundays all through January, and tomorrow night is the finale. I have watched as Chef Anne and Chef beau have tried to teach some pretty sorry cooks how to make a decent meal. From the beginning, one of my favorites has been Jenny Cross, and I was super excited tonight when she made it to the finale. There is not a doubt in my mind that she can't bury Rachel who, in my opinion, should be nowhere near the finale. If Chef Beau hadn't stolen Jenny from Chef Anne a couple of weeks ago, it would probably be her going against Jen. That would have been an even fight.

I guess we'll see how they both do tomorrow night.

My New Favorite Cooking Show

I was feeling a little yucky today, so I spent some time being lazy, and just watching television. Let me tell you, there was nothing on. At all.

Finally I flipped on Food Network, and fell in love with Brian Boitano. I was lucky enough to see him skate years ago, but I was a little iffy about his cooking ability when I heard he was getting his own show.

After two minutes, I was hooked. The show was informative, and at the same time, extremely funny. I love, love, LOVE his personality! His food was simple, yet kind of sophisticated. On the episode I watched today, he made these skewers that just had sun dried tomatoes with basil and goats cheese, and my mouth was watering. He also made fried polenta (spell check says that's spelled wrong...huh) with sausage and red pepper relish, and man, I wanted to reach in the television and grab it all.

I am looking forward to watching more What Would Brian Boitano Make? (click the link and go check out his food network page...trust me, he's awesome!)
