If I Had Only Listened To My Mother

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Dermajuv Skin Care Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

My mother has awesome skin. I remember from a very young age watching her put cream on her face every night before she went to bed. For years she used the same product. In fact, I think she still uses the same one, only I am sure it is not the same as is was twenty years ago. The brand is the same, but I am pretty sure the ingredients have changed.

As with everything else in life, skin care products change as scientists discover new ingredients that can better help a woman's skin. Right now, the new "it" ingredient is Matrixyl. This can be found in Dermajuv's Original Wrinkle Smoothing Cream. It is supposed to be able to "stimulate the lower layers of the skin to heal themselves, thus accelerating the healing of wounds". I guess wrinkles are considered "wounds", because this stuff is said to help your skin heal itself, thus getting rid of wrinkles.

All I know is that I am getting to that age where wrinkles are going to become more noticeable. I don't necessarily mind, but I don't want to look like I am 70 when I am only 45. I wish I had followed my mother's example and started using some type of face cream years ago. I guess it's just like with everything else my mother told me when I was younger; I didn't believe it at the time, but now wish that I had.

Emerge Labs OrganicSkinCare.com

I am all for healthy looking skin. I never wear makeup, so I do not have to worry about build up from that. However, I do love my skin to be soft and wrinkle free, and prefer to use products that are natural, and not full of harsh chemicals. That is why Emerge Labs Organic Skin Care sounds like it would be perfect for me. They use cells from a rare Swiss apple, which have been shown in studies to protect skin stem cells, which promotes self-renewal capacity of the skin. Sounds great, right? In fact, all of their skin care products are 1005 natural and organic. I think I might just give it a try.

Hydrate Your Skin

I don't know about you, but wintertime is always harsh on my skin. I get dry, flaky splotches, where my face, arms, and legs get dried out from the heat in the house, in the car, and in the stores. Drlark.com offers a line of Squalane Products that can help with skin problems like mine. Their Ocean Actives Squaline with a hint of lavender oil sounds like it would be perfect for my dry skin. It hydrates and soothes dry, irritated skin, helping your skin look more radiant and supple. Their prices are reasonable, and they even offer automatic ordering plans. This is definitely something to look into to help get my skin through this coming winter.
