On The Mend

I am finally feeling a little better. The pain behind my ear is fading, but still fierce when I cough. Luckily, I'm not coughing as much.The bad news? I think hubby has it too. Maybe not the bronchitis, but the sinus infection. He's miserable. I'm supposed to have company over friday night, saturday night, and sunday. I guess we'll have to wait and see how everyone is feeling.Thanks to all who left me get well wishes. You guys are the best.********************************************************Yesterday, ryan had his MP3 stolen out of his bookbag during 5th period. He didn't SEE the kid take it, but has a feeling he knows who it was. I emailed his teacher and principal last evening, and am waiting to hear what they can do. Unfortunately, it may be nothing.Hubby called the police to fill out a report, and when the officer got to our house, he informed hubby that because the MP3 is considered "contraband", and he shouldn't have it at school anyway, there is nothing they can do. What a bunch of bullcrap! So basically, if you steal something from someone at school that shouldn't be there, it's okay, because you're above the law. That sucks!I'm hoping his teacher or principal will question the kid, and maybe he will just return it. I don't have the money to replace it right now, not with hubby out of work. My poor ryan was so upset.*********************************************************I guess that's about it. I'll be hoping around later to visit. If I've left a comment for you sometime in the last few days and it doesn't really make sense, I blame the drugs!
