I Wanna Know It All

Let me in on your secrets....

How do you find new blogs to read?

Do you check out other peoples blog roles?

I met Carrie, one of my bestest friends ever, when she found me on Tammy's blog and came here and said hello.

I found my Jenn, another of my bestest friends, over on my other bestest friends Crystal's blog, where we were both trying to leave the first comment on her posts.

I found vixen at frigga's, when we were both trying to win a computer game. (I kicked every ones butt on that one! lol)

Do you stalk blogs silently? I have a few that I read that I never comment on.

Do you return comments? If someone leaves a comment on your blog, do you go check theirs out and leave a comment for them? I always try to do this, but sometimes I get too busy, and I forget. I really need to do better with this one.

What about the weekly meme's? Do you just sign up and visit a few other participants, or do you try and visit everyone who played that week? I know with TT and WW that is almost impossible.

What about ecards? When you drop, do you spend time reading the blogs you drop on, or do you drop and run? I will admit to doing a little of both. If something immediately grabs my attention, I will read a few posts. I even comment on quite a few that I visit.

So tell me what works for you. I'm interested....

Hi.
Uau, so many questions :) I´m curious about this topics too.
I can share how I do:
I find many blogs trough other blogs but Entrecard and other social Networks are my main sources.
Yes, I read some blogs and don´t comment, for example, problogger, I´m a bit shy :)
After some time of exchanging drops in EC I feel guilty if I don´t comment.
I try to return all comments and sometimes I comment on that blog.
I´m participating in Music Monday, it´s hard to check them all but I visit a few.
I read some blogs from Entrecard, but I don´t have time to comment on all that I visit, so sometimes I just drop, read the headlines and go.
A good Thursday. Cheers!

1) I use Entrecard campaign and search through the different categories that interest me.

2) I do visit the blogs of those who leave comments on mine.

3) I read comments on other blogs as well and will visit some that way if there a comment that I particularly like or that impresses me somehow.

4) Again, on Entrecard, I sometimes will search for a particular blog I like and then look at the bottom of that page for blogs they like and find some that way.

5) I do sometimes look through blogrolls on blogs I visit that I like.

6) Sometimes I'll check out blogs of people who I see commenting in the Entrecard or blogger forums.

7) Finally, if I am bored and really want to find something new, I'll go to www.linkreferral to find some more.

Oh boy - interesting questions!!

Lets see, I find new blogs to read in so many different ways I couldn't list them all.

I only check out other people's blog roles if I'm SUPER UPER DUPER impressed with their blog. I've done that twice in the almost 2 years I've been bloging.

WhoooHooooo!! Thanksfor the link love... by the way, did you ever get the Roller Coaster game to work?

There's a few blogs I love but don't comment because the blog owner doesn't seem to notice comments I've left before. But sometimes the writing is so good I'll still lurk.

I almost always return comments. That is the best way to make new blog-friends, not just new readers. I like blogging to be a two way street where we both see what the other has to say.

I don't seem to have time for weekly meme's lately. When I do, I really try to visit everyone and leave meaningful comments, but that's not always possible.

ECards - I drop and run unless the blog owner has a good blog with something on the top that grabs my attention and makes me want to read. I always comment once I've read a post. Unless I honestly can't find anything nice to say, which sometimes happens.

Whew, sorry for rambling on.... But visit me today and you can answer MY questions!!! :)

Hi,
Before I share you my secrets, I would like to thank you for advertising in my ec, your on. :]

1. I find new blogs through social networking sites, a friend, or a friend of a friend of mine, browsing in entrecard.

2.I read other's post and leave comment only if I can relate or have something to say. Otherwise, I just leave a message in their chatbox if there's one.

3. In my blog as much as possible I want to follow this "you comment i reply" rule, however, there are times that I'm busy and can't response to each and everyone's comment. And also, I leave comments to those bloggers who left comments in my blog. I kinda prioritize them.

4. I joined only 2 memes so far, and I visit and comment on the blogs of those who participated.

5. When it comes to ec droppings, it depends. Most times, I read and leave my mark, but sometimes I do a little of drop and run.

Take care :]

Wow, that was a lot of questions.

I find most blogs I read through Entrecard and links from other blogs. When someone comments on my blog, I try to return a message to them and visit their site if they have one.

As for dropping Ecards - I always look at the current post title and see if it interests me before I read further.

I don't know what ec totally are but I find them through comments on my blog and if someone looks interesting on someone's else's blog, I'll snoop!!!

Those are great questions. I find new blog friends from the comments page of other bloggers I read. I have made most of my friends from commenting. If they are commenting on my site I am back to visit thiers and if they come back again before I know it I have a new friend. I love it!!!

On the MEME's I sign up and try to visit as many as I can... hence today finding you. I like to find new blogs to read but I like finding new friends even more. Most often I leave the door open for you to come to my blog. If they don't I figure they are to busy so I don't go back. If they visit me then in a day or so I am back to visit with you again and they cycle begins.

I don't read a blog with out commenting. If they have a post I don't have something to say on I scroll down to their next one until I find one I can comment on.
