Stuff It!

I went shopping yesterday and got a bunch of little things for the kids stockings. It's a nice feeling knowing that is out of the way. I can not believe hubby only gets 2 more paychecks before Christmas!

So tell me. What do you put in your kids stockings? Candy? Small toys? Fruit? Hubby tries to get me to put fruit every year, but that just does not sound like a gift the kids would like! lol Although, on Halloween, Brandi got the most excited when someone put an apple in her bag. I guess my kids are weird!

I usually hit the "dollar store" here and buy up to 20 items that the kids can use. ex...coloring book, crayons, books, little toys, treats, crafts. just little things and then we buy them a new CD. and this reminds me I should get started....!

Alex has more fun with dollar store toys then anything! My mom stuffs all the kids stockings with Mc Donalds gift cards for like $5. The kids love them!!

I haven't done stockings in several years. Sad huh?

I love fruit. But no, I don't think that's a good stocking stuffer. I've always gotten chocolates, small toys (think 99 cent store type), chapsticks, travel sized lotions and stuff, socks (whoohooo, exciting!), movies or cd's, stuff along those lines.

I love having a stocking to stuff, but unfortunately I haven't had that chance for a few years, and I'm not about to fill my own just for me. :(
