A Time Of Change

As usual, I woke brandi up around 5:40 am this morning. Before her little eyes were even open, she askd me who the new president is.

Her class has been discussing voting and elections for weeks now, and she has been very vocal about her choice for president. She really wanted to be able to vote yesterday. Her class "voted", and she was happy that her choice won her class election.

When I told her this morning who had won, she looked at me and said,

"He's the wrong one. That's a bad choice.".

Hmmmm.......

While I don't agree with America's choice, I don't want my children thinking we have a bad man about to lead our country. Right or wrong, we all need to support this nations decision.

We had pretty much the same conversation here this morning. I too do not think we've elected the right man for the job, but as Americans we must be supportive of our president.

That is a really good way about thinking of the election outcome.

My morning was just like yours. My little guy was watching the TV last night and only 1 state had come in and it was for our guy. He woke up and asked first thing about it and our guy didn't win. He seemed a bit upset. We talked and he felt much better.

I agree, it is time to put all this behind us and support our president whomever it is.
