For the past couple of days, my kitten, Ginger, has mysteriously gotten her paws all wet. I thought she was jumping in the tub after someone was done showering. Well, I walked into the bathroom this morning, and found this:
I guess she thinks she is part dog, drinking out of the potty. It's not like she doesn't have fresh water in her bowl in the kitchen, cause she does. She's just weird.

Yuck!!!! and yes, cats do that.. i had a cat once that fell in... since then i have always kept the lid down.. in this household of bob and blackie, we no longer keep the doors open......
We always keep the lid down on ours because I don' want our cats falling in! My Spunky Doodle drinks from the faucet, but she doesn't like getting her feet all wet.
I know what you mean, I have 2 big bowls of fresh water .. but no - the toilet looks better?!? LOL
Yep, I caught my cat one day and now the lid stays down! LOL... I just cannot think of kitty doing that! Ewwww.... hehehe...

That's why the lid should always be put down!
Our cat would probably do that too if she could. As it is, she always begs for water in the sink so she can either play in it or just sit and look at it. She's weird, and she's got us trained. All she has to do is jump on the sink and look at us, and we put some water in the sink for her.

I, too, keep the lid down for this reason. I got tired of cat foot prints on the seat!
However, it's nice to know that when I travel if I leave the lid up, my cats will not go thirsty!
My kitty likes to watch the water swirl. My dog drinks out of it.
That is just plain gross! Kitty...use the dog dish!

my kitty will only drink out of the potty too. and she has water in a bowl all the time too... I guess she just feels like the toilet is more her kind of bowl. lol
