Last Minute Shopping

Do you guys realize that a week from today, it will all be over. The presents will all be unwrapped, all the goodies will be eaten. The magic of Christmas will have blessed us with another wonderful holiday, and it will be time to pack up the decorations and wait on the new year.

If you are anything like me, you will be buying gifts right up until the last minute. I have the majority of my shopping done. I still need to find something for my Dad, but he is so hard to buy for. I need to go check out the last minute gifts from Kmart. My dad retired a few years ago, so my yearly tie is no longer the perfect gift. I could buy him tools, but he already has so many, and I don't want to get him something he doesn't need. Kmart does have a Craftsman® 23-inch hand tool box with comfort handle that would work for him. I'm sure you can never have too many tool boxes. The best part is that it is under $25, so it won't put too big of a dent into my holiday budget. Kmart has over 25,000 quality gifts for under $25, so I am sure to find something for him.

I might even try and find something for myself. I know the kids haven't gotten me anything yet, and my husband keeps asking what I want. I saw Martha Stewart Everyday tall nickel pillar candleholders that would look beautiful on my hutch, and they are under $25 as well. I really want the fourth Twilight book, Breaking Dawn, but I plan on buying that for myself tonight so I can devour it this weekend.
