This first picture is pretty cool. This is where the live wire was touching our driveway. It melted the rocks! Brandi and Kasi each took a piece to take to school tomorrow. That should show you how intense the fire was.
Wow, that's pretty scary. I'm guessing that area isn't as dry as it looks. If that happened around here a major fire could easily have started. I'm glad it just turned into a cool show-and-tell and not a dangerous situation!
frigga, thank God it was freezing last night, and the ground was covered in frost, so the fire didn't spread too bad. It was mostly along the fence that goes from our driveway to behind the church. Bu believe me, it was still scary, mostly because it was blocking the only exit from our house.
That is so very, very scary. And all that live power too! You guys are so lucky (or blessed) that the fire was contained so quickly and that no one was hurt or trapped. I am so glad you are all okay.
PS: Way to go on thinking to grab the camera though! Always thinking about us, right?
