I am not one of those women who think Patrick Dempsey is hot. I don't think he's ugly, but I just don't see what all the fuss is about. That said, I still wanted to see this movie, because it looked good.It's all about Tom (Dempsey) and Hannah (Michelle Monaghan). They have been best friends for years, with Tom being the ladies man with rules about women he will not break. Hannah is the best friend he drags to family affairs, and spends all his time with. When Hannah goes away for 6 weeks, Tom realises he loves her. Planning to tell her the night she returns, Tom is surprised when Hannah comes home with a fiance. He is even more surprised when Hannah asks him to be her Maid Of Honor. Tom accepts, and spends the rest of the movie trying to show Hannah how wrong her fiance is for her, all the while hiding the fact that he things he is the one she should be with.
I really enjoyed this movie. It was sweet and funny and romantic. I definitely recommend watching this movie.
