Here is a picture of the pit bull that is causing me so much grief. I took these pictures yesterday to bring to the management company, so they can see what we are talking about. Doesn't she just look mean? I am so tired of her being in my yard, and to be honest, I am a little afraid of her, and I am never afraid of dogs. Well, I am afraid of pit bulls, because they are so unpredictable. I hope something is done about this, soon. Junior is one step away from calling animal control.

I totally get it. They just have an anti-social demeaner to them. I just can't trust them, despite what their owners say.
She does look mean. Why isn't she chained up? You are totally right.
I hate that people get these dogs and then just stop caring!!! Makes me angry!hughugs
although i understand where you are coming from, she seems kind of cute to me. but i totally get the not being able to trust that kind of dog bc of their personalities and also bc of history. you know you don't usually hear good things about pitbulls. :(
that being said. you have proof and she is there. unleashed. that shouldn't be.
you shouldn't have to fear for your safety or more for your children's safety bc of your neighbors dog. she should go.
i hope everything works out for you with this... and that she will go off to a good home... FAR FAR away from you.

Oh my goodness. With you're lovely children in possible jeopardy, I would NOT wait for management to decide what to do, I would call Animal Control immediately before something tragic happens. I love dogs, but, like you, am a bit fearful of pitbulls, rottweilers, and dogs like that. One reads too many stories about their aggressiveness. Love you blog, but with so many blogs, so little time, I usually "lurk" more than comment.
I like dogs but not when they're allowed to wander. There's nothing wrong with be afraid, pit bull or poodle, they need to be controlled.
