House Hunting

The girls and I had a busy weekend. We spent Saturday and today with my mom. Yesterday, we drove around looking at some houses that my mom found online. You all know she is wanting to buy a house, and we were on a quest to find her the perfect one. There was this one. It had three bedrooms, two full baths, two car garage, in ground pool, and a three bay workshop at the the back of the property. I told my mom it was the perfect house for Junior and I, and she was lucky we aren't looking right now. Junior is still set on moving away from here, and we are thinking about talking to Dallas realtors. Texas is where a bunch of my friends live, and I might be open to moving there. Someday. Just not right now. I want to live close to my mom.

Today the girls and I went shopping with my mom, and then we went back to her apartment to hang out. She challenged me to a game of canasta, which I won in two hands. Yeah, I rocked. Then we watched Twilight, ate yummy chicken with edamame and tater tots. Dessert was zucchini bread I made from scratch, which came out delicious. I love these kinds of lazy weekends spent with family
