Kasi's Dollhouse

I believe that every little girl should have a dollhouse. I made one for Kasi when she was younger, and I am hoping to make one for Brandi someday, too. In Kasi's dollhouse, I painted every room a different color, and furnished it with dollhouse accessories. The bedrooms had beds and dressers, and the dining room had a table and chairs. I even made a little nursery, complete with a crib and changing table. It has all the basics, but that was all.

I want to do something a little more creative, maybe add a few finishing touches. When I completed the dollhouse, I knew what each room would be, but I forgot two very important rooms. The kitchen and the bathroom. It never occurred to me to put them in there. Weird, I know. Especially since I found the cutest accessories for those two rooms, especially the bathroom. Did you know they make miniature toilets? I had no idea. Check out this toilet paper holder. I used to have on exactly like it in my bathroom, only mine was silver. I found little scales, and the cutest little toothbrush and toothpaste. I am inspired to get Kasi's dollhouse out and redo a few things.

Of course, no house, not even a dollhouse, would be complete without a computer. How would the little people blog or surf the internet? How cute is this miniature desktop? The sad thing is that it looks a lot like my computer. I really need to get a new flat screen monitor. It would be wrong if the dollhouse had a better setup than I do, right? They even had little laptops. I am amazed at the detail, and how realistic these miniatures look. I could get carried away trying to decide what to get to add to Kasi's dollhouse.

Aurora had a doll house when she was little. I think I had more fun with it then she did. LOL

I always wanted one of those big doll houses that come in a kit and you build. I would love to decorate it. It's hard to believe all the things they have for them.
