Are you planning an awesome vacation this summer? Junior came home today with confirmation that he got the vacation days he put in for. This means we get to go camping for three days. I don't know who is more excited, me or the kids?
It's only been in the past few years that we have started taking family vacations. When the kids were younger, I was hesitant to go anywhere with them. That sounds fun! The last time we had a family vacation was on Valentines Day. We all went to my boyfriend's hometown. My dad drove the car for about 13 hours with a few pit stops. We almost hit a truck head on because my dad got drowsy on the way. Really scary but we enjoyed the trip especially me coz I got a dozen roses and chocs from my bf :)
I love camping!! and camping with kds, although more work then when it was just Bry and I is soooo AWESOME... they LOVE it and they are happy all the time, and they want to go all the time too. I know you will have an awesome time, the kids will enjoy it.... and you'll take lots of pics!! :)
we have one trip planned... so far. i hope we get in a bunch of camping... I'm actually going to see about making some reservations this week for some places... even if we go locally it's still something diff and fun to do on the weekends!! we used to go to CT for over a week... that was awesome... we NEED to do that again next year... too late this year for reservations... and we haven't been in a while... we went every summer for a long time... since I was about 9 I think.
well anyway... can't wait for your camping trip and to hear all about it... although it's some time away... i know. i'm like a little kid...I get anxious and have a hard time waiting. lol
