Looking Great!

Here is a new picture of Kasi's arm I took last night. It is looking so good!

She is also doing better with it. She is not afraid to hit it anymore, so she is doing more than just watching television. I think she is also feeling better about going to school, because if it gets hit accidentally, it won't hurt as much as before.

I will be happy when the whole thing is healed up, and she isn't scarred.

If you haven't read the story behind this burn, you can find it here.

It looks better by the day. I'm glad to hear that it doesn't hurt her now. Burns hurt so bad.

It does look better. Have you tried putting vitamin E oil on it? That should help reduce scarring. Emu oil works fantastic, too.

The doctor actually recommended that we put preparation H on it to help with scarring. Junior wants aloe on it, too, once it heals up a little more.

Wow! I must say how impressed I am that she wanted to stay, that night and the rest. What a brave girl, and caring enough for her family to let everyone else stay and have a good time. Good for her. I think it says a lot about her character

Aloe is a good idea and I had no idea Prep H would help - good to know!

wow. what an improvement. i'm so glad. i'm glad that it's healing well, and not hurting as much, and that she isn't as nervous to do things or for school to start... can't say i blamed her... it was horrible... but it's really healing well, and looks a million times better now... good job both to you and Kasi on keeping it cleaned and bandaged and all the correctly so it would heal properly. :)

also doesn't look like she will have much of a scar... at least i hope not... i saw in your comments that the dr said prep H, that's very interesting... and it's worth the try.
