We are leaving tomorrow for our four days of camping. I am excited, and so are the kids. Junior is looking forward to fishing, uninterrupted, for four days. While this is going to be the perfect vacation for him, I can't help but wonder if I would have more fun doing something different.

Maybe spending a week or so at the
Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing might be a little more appealing to me. Branson offers so many different things to do. I have come out of my shell recently, and no longer feel embarrassed wearing my bathing suit. This new found freedom has me wanting to go to a water park. I was checking out White Water, and really want to go. They have awesome water slides and tube rides. On the website, they showed little kids playing at Rain Tree Island. Doesn't it look like fun? I know the kids would love this. They also have pools to relax and play in.
By staying at the
Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, we will be close to the water park, yet still able to enjoy all the downtown Branson has to offer. They have shopping, restaurants, and live shows that we can enjoy. As much as I am going to love camping, I would rather be in Branson, sliding down a water slide. That is, if I can get over my fear of heights.

My boys love water parks. I'm sure they would really enjoy this one.
